The Synergy Program was introduced to build bottoms-up effort to drive synergies across Aristocrat with a focus on the Source to Pay Process. The IT / Procurement work stream was identified as an area where process standardization and analysis can help increase efficiency and productivity.
To address this opportunity gap, we took the following steps to establish a process analysis technique: -Reviewed existing process & relevant documentations (many other P2P initiatives were done but no impact) -Used APQC process and performance management research to understand various business process maturity, user experience surveys, and use of process mining to evaluate P2P data within ERP -Understood current business metrics to evaluate process performance -Used APQC's leading practices use case to understand gaps and provide benchmark -Conducted process analysis to help inform business strategy and objectives and the introduction of a new target operating model -Designed future state processes to support new service blueprint and team -Removed shadow operations and standardization to drive process efficiencies
