Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds and cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Please send written cancellations to confregistration@apqc.org. 

 

Refund Policy. The deadline to request a refund for your registration is Friday, March 8, 2024. Registration cancellations received on or before Friday, March 8, 2024 will be eligible to receive a refund less a 10% service fee of the price paid.  

 

Cancellation Policy. Registration cancellations made after Friday, March 8, 2024 are not eligible for a refund.    

 

Alternatives to cancellation:

  • Someone from your membership organization may be substituted to attend in your place on or before Friday, March 8, 2024 at no charge. After Friday, March 8, 2024 a 10% service fee of the price paid will be assessed.
  • You may rollover your registration for the following year's conference at any time less a 10% service fee of the price paid. Registrant will be responsible for any price difference from the rollover from the prior year. The rollover is valid for the next conference year only and incorporates the future year’s pricing, cancellation and refund policies.
  • You may apply your conference fee less a 10% service fee of the conference price paid to other APQC products and services: such as APQC Academy (online e-learning), Advisory Services, or Membership.

All cancellations must be submitted to APQC in writing to confregistration@apqc.org

 

If you cancel your conference attendance, remember to cancel your hotel reservation directly with the hotel as APQC is unable to cancel your hotel reservation. 

 

Modification of Event: The published schedule and description of the Event are for informational purposes only. APQC may, in its sole discretion, modify the Event by, among other things, substituting speakers or programs, adjusting the schedule or timing of programs, canceling certain parts, or otherwise adjusting the Event as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion.

 

Cancellation of Event by APQC: APQC may, in its sole discretion, cancel the Event. If that occurs, you will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid to APQC.  However, APQC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss incurred as a result of cancellation, including without limitation, nonrefundable charges for meals, transportation, and lodging. Participant assumes all risk of loss resulting from a cancellation regardless of the cause. 

 

Force Majeure: Attendance at the event is subject to acts of God, governmental authority, disaster, or other emergencies, any of which may make it illegal or impossible for APQC and/or its suppliers to host all or portions of the event. In case of force majeure, APQC shall have no obligation or liability to Participant. 

 

Participant Terms and Conditions: By registering and attending the APQC’s 2024 Conference, you are required to accept and abide by the Participant Terms & Conditions.

 

Attire

The suggested dress for this event is business casual. Temperatures in Houston will likely be as warm as 95 degrees or as cool as 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

Health and Safety

  • Health and safety is a shared responsibility. Your commitment is essential to ensure your personal health and the safety of others and the conference community during the event. 
  • By registering for the conference and when in attendance, you agree to adhere to health and safety protocols and shared responsibility of the “Commitment to Clean” at the Westin Houston and Memorial City, Marriott International.
